Radio issue

Hi
ok so I have a 54 plate 4.4 vogue with nav and cd which has decided to play up! Sad
basically the radio is not switching on the screen shows the nav and the OBC is on but no radio or cd and the light at the push button on/off switch will not light up but I have power at the Cd player and nav in the boot so anyone have any ideas.
if its the head unit/screen then whats a recommended upgrade as I want to put a phone system in.
Cheers
Geo

Lots of threads about this.

Suggest check for water damage in the boot, disconnect, clean and reconnect everything. If radio unit beggered then find Baris on forum for repair/replacement/upgrade (may include phone). Wiggs on forum can also help with phone stuff.

For replacement unit, check the thread on replacing with android unit started by Haylands .

A PM to Baris will be your cheapest option.

Have the amp upgrade done if you send the BM54 for repair. Well worth it if you like your music......

So update on this bloody radio!
checked and cleaned all plugs in the boot and disconnected battery to try that but nothing so could it be the BM54 or the DSP?
DSP is showing graphics on the screen and going into demo etc but still no light on at the Radio switch.
Also no sound from sat nav .
could it be the battery as some have said but it starts no problem and nothing else is showing up on the dash.

What is the best diagnostic toll to get for this model ? Nothing with an I phone as I don't have one!

Get in touch with Baris and talk through your symptoms.

The iidtool is well recommended on here. I have one. Just the standard one that uses the dash display. Not the bluetooth one.

It won't find issues with the radio though. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

There's a 10A fuse located on the top of the BM54 under the large connector plug.
Might be worth a look on the off-chance.
