Hi everyone!

I have just joined the forum, but have been browsing for a few weeks now.

I picked up my Range Rover yesterday and I love it. It is the first RR I have had, but my previous car was a a Disco 3.

I am still trying to get used to all the features, but, I do have a question regarding the parking sensors. Do they both automatically come on when you are going slow enough and do they turn off whilst in park? The reason I ask this is that my rear sensors seem sporadic and the front only come on when I tuen them on..

the rears come on when reverse is selected, the fronts wont work until the rears have engaged ... ... - .- -.

So, the fronts won't work if you haven't engaged reverse first? So I need to switch the fronts on manually if I drive into a space?

correct..bit of a pain but thats the way it works.. ... - .- -.

thanks for the usual good info Stan, I've been trying to sort this for weeks but to ashamed to post on here, not vain but I've found that if i press the button for the forward ones it does operate but thats with manual intervention.

The fronts activate once you have started manoeuvring the car, as if you were parking. Discovery 4 HSE
