53 offset non-TPMS wheels on TPMS equipped FF?

Hi,

This is further to my other thread looking for winter wheels.

I think from searching on here that the wheels Ken has for sale will fit on my 2008MY TDV8 but before I make the trek up from Dorset to try them on can the collective confirm or deny?

They are 20 inch, 8.5J width, 53ET offset genuine D4 black series wheels (so weight should be fine)
Shod with 255/50 R20 109V Continental CrossContact Winter (non-TPMS valves) so approved tyres for the FF in the same size as my existing.

So the only differences to my existing Pirelli Scorpions are:
1. the offset - 53 instead of 58 - which, as I understand means they will sit 5mm further out into the arches
2. the non-TPMS valves which will cause an error code on the dash? Interestingly my TPMS valves are corroding - only just understood the significance of this whilst searching on here. As my FF had a full LR warranty put on in July 2014 should these be replaced FOC? Or if I am having non-TPMS winter wheels am I better to get non-TPMS valves on my regular wheels and get the stealer to deactivate TPMS?

Thanks all in advance,

Beau

Thanks Stan - I was sure my 7 spoke 20 inchers are 58 but there you go!

Any thoughts about the TPMS?

they might be 57 et off set if they are RRS wheels..

as for tpms, i took mine off and disabled it in the ccf with the iidtool, waste of time in my case because of all the errors i kept getting.. ... - .- -.

Shocked I've just fitted TPMS Shocked
