urgent Help!!! oil leak

Advice please:
2012 4.4 tdv8, need to use the car tomorrow morning 5:30 and just found there is oil leaking underneath the car tonight, not sure if its engine oil or gearbox oil or other oils, please see the pictures attched. the car is at home garage
the car is under warranty and I have called breakdown assistance, the operator say at this time the landrover technician is not availale and AA arranged patrol to have a look.
1) may I ask: whats the likely problem? is that serious?
2) what will happen next if AA canot fix it on site --- i dont think they can fix the oil leak problem.
3) will they recover it to dealer? can I request it to be recover to my preferred dealer? my preferred dealer is not open tomorrow( weekend), so can I request them to recover it on week days?
4) what precausion I need to take if they recover it to dealer? like take any photoes...etc?

any advice are more than welcome.

Best Regards
Henry

No photo. If the car is deemed not driveable they will recover it.

"Immobilised vehicle?
Whenever practical, Land Rover Assistance will send a Land Rover trained technician, whether you are at home or on the road. If the problem cannot be resolved at the roadside, we will take your vehicle to the nearest Land Rover dealer/Authorised Repairer or to the one nearest to your home address in the UK."

Provided you can use alternative transport and someone will be able to give access to the RR tomorrow, you could recall and delay LR assist coming out until tomorrow citing the late hour, the fact that the car is parked and not being used tonight and the fact that an LR trained technician is not available anyway. You could then ring your preferred dealer in the morning and coordinate the best way forward with them and LR assist.

Thumbs Up

Looks like engine oil to me. Has she been recently serviced - could be the mechanic miss seated the oil filter - sits in the V of the V8 upside down on top of the engine. Usually the o ring seal leaks. Common problem with brain dead mechanics.

And yes recovery to dealer, new filter, oil change and steam clean. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

according to purchase dealer, it was serviced last May,
just called my preferred dealer, the service department say if its black colour oil leak---which seems to be, could be Engine oil. The road side assistant will send a LR technician tomorrow morning to have a look and go from there.
