FULL SIZE SPARE WHEEL

HI Chaps please advice,
I would like to change to full size spare for 2012 4.4 tdv8, the car comes with standard 20inch rim, 255/50 R20. Can I just get any 20inch rim from ebay and then fit it with a 255/50 R20 tyre? does the rim has to match my existing rim?

Many thanks in advance

Henry

the 255 55 20 size is a l405 size and not standard on the l322.

the correct l322 20'' size is 255 50 20..

if you do have the 55 profile then any standard range rover 20'' rim will be ok ... - .- -.

so am I right to say that any 20 inch range rover rim will be ok to work with my existing alloy wheel even their style don't match?
how about the wheel nuts? are they universal to fit all 20inch rim?

any rim will be ok... i have style 9 on the FF and an old supercharged rim as a spare..

there are some old 7 spokes about that need the smaller nuts and they can be identified by having small holes in between the nut holes rather than dimples as in the later [normal size nut] wheels.. ... - .- -.

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

To use as a spare I would suggest getting a 19" with a 255 55 19 tyre, but only the latter styles as some of the earlier ones won't clear the 6 pot calipers on the 4.4.

Would be a bit cheaper than a 20 and fine for spare use!

Something like this:

eBay Item No. 231482194314 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
FFRR 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography Santorini Black.
Fiat 500x 1.4 multiair Lounge 2015

many thanks
I found a 20inch one 255 50 20 with 4mm thread tyre. 120 pounds, not particulary cheap, but, beacause I will drive to euro, so a full size spare will make me a bit confident. and I can sell it separately without much lose if I sell the car.
