Snow foam for the first time on my RR

Just thought id add a short right up of my first experience with snow foam lance.

Last week i purchased a snow foam lance for my Karcher from Autobrite through the detailing world group buy for £39.99

I'd never used snow foam before but read plenty of reviews and seen all the pro's using it on DW so thought id give the RR a go

First of all i diluted the autobrite snow foam

Added a small amount of my Blackfire Gloss shampoo and conditioner (not sure if this was needed)

Tuck a few snaps of my Range Rover before hand

Range Rover had the usual weekly dirt but nothing major apart from below (must have only happened the night before.

First of all i gave it a quick rinse with my Karcher pressure washer followed by a thick coat of snow foam.

As you can see from my first picture i was still getting used to apply the snow foam evenly.

Evertunatly i got used to it.

After about 7-10mins the Range Rover looked like this

Gave the car a quick rinse and was very pleased with the cleaning power of the autobrite snow foam. I then gave the Range Rover a 2 bucket wash followed by a rinse and dry. Below pictures where then taken.

No polish, wax, window cleaner etc was applied just a simple snow foam- 2 bucket wash - rinse - dry.

Sorry forgot to mention i also applied some megs tyre shine.

I’m guessing I used a bit too much but it was my first go. Overall I’m really impressed with the autobrite snow foam.

Total wash time from start to finish was 1hr 30mins. Not bad for a weekly wash on such a big car.

Range Rover was protected 3months ago with the Blackfire wet over ice kit and I’m really impressed with the amount of gloss and shine the paint is still showing. I’m hoping to give the Range Rover a full detail in the next few weeks before the bad weather sets in and will hopefully add a full write up.

Looks great.... I take it you are on DW like me....

I normally use around 10ml of Snowfoam unless my cars are really bad then I add some APC as well...

Looks superb , like your Alloys , think if we did not have so many potholes up here i would go for the OF's myself .........

Looks great! although it was still shining beautifully even when it was dirty!

i think we definately need a detailing section on here to get everyones awareness up on what different products are actually out there!

Regular on DW mate.

Can anybody here gave me advice on what products to use on the black plastic bits on the RR i.e wing mirrors and bit's near windows.

I've just ordered a Snow Foam applicator for my Karcher, looking forward to giving it a try. What I want to know is how you Guys wash the roofs of your Fatties, I have to use a step ladder!

Yep that could do it, I just wish we had Wickes on this side of the channel it would save me a fortune!

I use a step ladder but at best I only have gravel surfaces to stand it on so its always a bit dodgy.

Secret is not to wash any of it then the roof looks the same
