Always worth having an AA Map or similar in the car when travelling in a country you are not familiar with.

All EU Maps for Sat Navs have Western Europe countries at least. |

emmm, I always have the feeling that any manufacutre's built in SatNav is not very good(I may wrong), I used to TOMTOM as I found its live traffic infor is very accurate( most of the case), and what I use is ipad mini with TOMTOM app, so it has larger/clear SatNav view. I will buy a road map just in case I need quick find somewhere to head to. |

i've used the FF's nav in france and it was ok...as with all sat navs you dont ''totally'' rely on them... a nav, reading road signs and common sense will get you anywhere.. ... - .- -.

Just back from France. Used the in built nav, which needs updating, but always carry a road atlas too. Sometimes Mrs S guides with the map,but I've usually worked it out for myself by the time the instruction comes. Still it helps to pass the time.

I have used my 2010 maps (assuming they were not updated since the car left Solihull) without issues for a 4000 km trip UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany in April last year, no complaints. The only time it went "wrong" was trying to get to the Hilton La Defence (it kept me "underneath" the Hilton and didn't get me onto the "driveway" but apparently TomTom didn't "know" that either as one of my friends ended up following a taxi |
