I just saw a RRS with a small black box on the front bumber with the inscription ACC, which upon closer inspection is ACTIVE CRUISE CONTROL.

From what I understand once the driver has set a certain speed limit on the cruise control and the car comes close to another vechilce in front the ACC kicks in and automatically slows the vehicle down. (...I may be wrong in this assumption...)

Does anyone know if the FFRR has an option like this??

Yes I had this on my Range Rover Sport Supercharged. I found it mainly irritating as it would 'sense' lorries on the inside lane and jam on the brakes despite the fact they were not in your lane.

I told a man from Landrover that they should have it selectable so normal cruise can be used too, but they clearly have not listened.

You can adjust the distance between you and the car in front using the steering wheel cruise buttons too.

Don't think this has ever been put on the FFRR tho. Discovery 4 HSE
