I use the central cigarette lighter socket and have routed the cabling under the passenger seat, up the B pillar to the headlining then to the windscreen. You can just notice the wire out the side of the central hatch but I can bear with that.

I rather like the tiny size and a single (potentially hidden) location for the recording device. More difficult to nick and neater. |

I fitted my Blackvue at the weekend - used the same method that I used for my L322 - only it was easier on the L405 |

Instructuions for the camera say permanent live & it records if someone bumps you whilst parked, but given the RR record with battery life, I've always wired mine to switched ignition live |

0801 and the more recent 0806 are very good dash cams for the price, my 0801, after updating the firmware when fitted has never given trouble since.
