I've been trying to figure out the best approach to this for months and not sure the best way forward. I think I've now read every single thread that exists on the topic on here

I really don't like my walnut interior (2002 Vogue) and I'm very keen to replace it with glossy piano black. I think it would totally modernise and finish off the interior. I am debating the options - I could try and find a local coachworks who could respray it, but I need to be able to dismantle the dash, vents, door door cards etc in order to remove them - then put it all back together. I could order the PowerfulUK kit too - but that's quite expensive and I still have to do all the assembling and fiddly stuff myself. I also don't trust a coachworks to disassemble my car themselves...

Are there any sponsors or members on here offering a service to do the whole package as one? Ie take my car, remove the walnut trim, respray it piano black and then put it back together again?

I'd imagine the choice is sparse in Scotland but I can travel - I work all over the UK.

Like CY I want to do exactly the same thing to my MY2002 Vogue which currently has the Foundry finish trim but most of the Piano Black Gloss parts shown on the Powerful_UK site appear to be out of stock and have been for some time.

Some of the parts are sold on an exchange basis so perhaps they have none at the moment which would allow them to produce the Piano Black versions


I would rather do it all in one hit rather than piecemeal and I am sure that I read a reply from them in the comments to one of the Powerful_UK videos on Youtube that they were prepared to manufacture the parts if the customer removed them from their vehicle and sent them on.

I'm going to follow this up but would gladly let Craig do the job.

Any good B and B's near Craig's premises as I expect it would take a few days! Peter Kemp
