Hi everyone,

My first post, I bought this RR last thursday, wow amazing car. I had a "classic 3.9 " for about 23 years then sold it. I think it was scrapped.

THis one is so different its a 4.2ltr supercharged.

I want to put side steps on so any advice on suppliers gratefully received.

Very nice you will love it, and soon be on first name terms at the petrol station I was.  The worst thing about being retired is you miss out on all the bank holidays

Spot on about the petrol, i have put in about £100+ already, help !!!.

A question, what tyre pressures do you use ?, i'm using Front 32psi / Rear 36psi

I have had mine for just over a year but been in the family for 8 years. Done 82k now and is still a lovely car to drive and to be driven in.

For what it is, I think it is reasonable on fuel. Just under 17mpg combined round town and went to Czech Republic last year and did 1800 miles with bikes on the back and was fully loaded and averaged 22mpg. Well pleased with that!

22mpg average sounds pretty good .

Its a perfect car for long journeys, when I collected it I did a lot of motorway driving, just seemed to float along.

Ive filled it up now with Shell V power, the engine seems to like it so ill keep using it.

I had to travel about 50-60 miles but well worth it.
