its basically a rattle can with anti bacterial stuff in it..you stick it in the footwell of the car , switch on the a/c and click the nozzle down on the can...it takes about 15 mins to circulate the stuff. ... - .- -.

+1 from me.

I''d also check the pollen filter too, take 5 min to check it, if it's filthy then it'll need changing anyway.

I would not wait with the pollen filter, as soon as you cleaned the AC with the "bomb" just put a new pollen filter in. That way you're pretty sure that all is OK Smile.

There are quick and cheap ways that may work (for a while). Open the doors, turn the engine on and make sure the AC is running and spray anti bacterial spray (Febreze anti bacterial or Tea Tree oil mixed in water or Eucalyptus spray, they all kill bacteria). I'm currently using it on the Merc (not that is was bad at all, just a bit of old car smell). If that doesn't work (for long) than you can do the bomb and pollen filter. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
