Well, as i do every Sunday, washed and waxed the FFRR...

What does everyone use on the black and grey plasticy bits, mainly on the bonnet and black uprights surrounding the side and rear windows?? The grey plastic on the bonnet is watermarked so i need to do something..

Also, i want to hand wax it, any suggestions??

Hi, I use no-rinse (blue one not green) washed using microfibre mitt then dried with a large microfibre towel, both then go in wash after, simples!!!

I use Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer. IMHO it's the best there is. 22,50 pounds for a 15ml bottle. But I will last for a very long time (some claim years)! And with the 15 ml bottle you can probably do all the plastic trims on the car 3 or 4 times...

The window uprights can be polished with something like Farecla G3 and/ or AG SRP.

You mentioned about wax. I use an American carnauba wax called Harly Wax. It's available via eBay for a very reasonable price and gives truly excellent results. This is my 15 year old E55 done just recently.

AGlym bumper gel for me. easy to apply and good results. Admittedly more matt than shiny but pleasing never less. Only ever used it on black trim tho.
