Short question is, do you know how to remove the 2 braided hoses that go into the remote oil filter housing ?

Hi Guys,
I have had an oil leak on my 4.4 V8 RR for a while and it's really starting to bug me, it isn't enough to have to top up my oil level regularly but it leaves a small patch on the drive and is embarrising if I forget and park on friends drives.
Anyway I thought it could be related to the PCV valve, which I relplaced along with all the hoses which had mostly disintergrated but it still remains.
I have also had the timing chain & head gasket done last year so the rocker cover gasket was done at the same time and so I'm happy that the rocker cover gasket is ok, which is known as another weak point. I have run my hand around the edge of rocker and it is dry.
Last time I had it up on the ramps I sprayed some engine degreaser on the car and it cleaned it up well and could see a drop of oil forming on the oil filter return plate on the passenger side of the engine, this is running from above, but I just don't know where???
Anyway some oil ends up on the 2 braided oil supply and return pipes to the remote oil filter. At either end of these pipes is an O ring, my question is, how do I remove these pipes from the filter housing ?
Also do you have any other ideas, where the oil could be coming from ??? The problem is it is probably coming from above and near the front of the engine and the fan and air flow acros the engine sends it to the back so I can't identify !

hi, are you sure its not coming out of the oil filter housing my one was doing the same, just a spot on the floor and it was weeping through the thread of the cap,easy fix just fitted a new oil seal but what was happening was when the oil got hot it would only slightly leak, found out by wrapping some white tissue around the housing.

I'm not sure if its these O rings on the braided hoses but will try wrapping some cloth around it, thanks for your suggestion.

Clean it all with brake cleaner spray drive 200 miles and check where it comes from  l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
