In the standard 2002 non touchscreen, is it possible to have the LR logo stay on all the time or even change the logo to one of your choice instead of the all the trip computer stuff, radio stuff etc or monitor off ?

With out sounding stupid, why would you want to change the logo, or even show it on display all the time??

There is a little logo in the middle of the steering wheel if you forget the make your driving ( sorry couldn't help myself)

Answer, I would guess not. But then the BMW version of the ecu will have that logo. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

I'm happy to keep the LR logo but it disappears on start up and is replaced with all the trip info etc which I already have available on the dash under the speedo anyway.

Maybe i don't understand your point, but If you don't want the trip info displayed because it's already on the instrument cluster, just put it on Audio or nav?

I've just read all 24 pages of replacing with head unit with an Android unit. Whao It looks a brilliant system but I've got the BMW media Dice fitted a couple of years ago with the B/T upgrade in the boot also and its DSP and after spending about £4k on the car this year with tyres, hubs, condensor, compressor, discs, pads, callipers, suspension arms, MAf, lambda probe, etc etc etc, I'm not keen on any upgrades, just want to keep it nice and save for an S/C next year.

Me thinks il just stick a photo of my dog/wife/mountain view onto the head unit = new instant screensaver  2002 Vogue 4.4 V8
