United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey
Decisions, Decisions !

So the clock has rolled on to !20,000 . Why do I know feel that I'm, playing Russian Roulette ? Did the gearbox oil and filter back at 85,000. Oil and filters changed every 10,000. LPG system serviced in accordance. Wheels have been off, pads and discs ok... still, I set off thinking about timing chain guides, torque converters and cylinder head gaskets.

Theres a tiny bit of corrosion appeared on the bonnet lip, just had the tailgate bit painted, and do the rear wheel arches once a year.
Time to wave her goodbye or carry on ?

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

The petrol has a ZF box so not the issues that the TD6 has but still, regular oil and filter changes will extend the life as the ATF will degrade over time. I would strongly suggest to do a full service on them asap. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Dave I am on 175,000 now and still going strong getting 33MPG on LPG and 21MPG on petrol.

Still drives like a dream and am aiming to get it to 200,000. Would love some company!! Whistle

I'd agree - stick with what you know unless you're making a decent jump in age & mileage Thumbs Up

Guess it depends what kind of mileage - town or motorway. But, yes, 200k would be a cause for celebration. Current:
2012 RR 4,4V8 Westminster)
2007 Bentley Continental GT 6.0 W12
1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0
2018 Maserati Ghibli 3.0 V6 Gran Lusso
2017 Aston Martin Rapide S. Shadow Edition

I run a couple of taxis and 450k isn't unusual, is a bit like triggers broom isn't it really. What's going to cost you more, a later car or the repairs (if the worst even happens)

I'm a great believer in keeping on top of things and if your happy with it other than the worry it might break I'd keep it.
Learnt from experience that newer isn't always better, bought a brand new vw caravelle 3 years ago, in 80k miles it had two engines, flywheel and virtually every component part, literally in for warranty work every other week. Bare in mind this was 45 grand, you'd expect it to be better. Got shot and bought a ten year old v6 Ford Galaxy to do the job instead, less tech, less emissions crap and less electronics. Not been any trouble at all.

Better the devil you know.... 2003 4.4 Adriatic Blue FF
