a battery re-connect reboots the ecu's and helps to solve some problems...have you any water ingress in the rear near side cubby hole.. ... - .- -.

Mine didn't appear to need a code when i replaced the battery. I suspect they're vin coded to the vehicle like Peugeot/Citroen's.

i did only disconnect the negative lead.
