Ok time as come to move on, and my td6 is up for sale. I'll be honest, it's a great motor but just doesn't get driven enough. I've had it 21 months now and only done 8k in it. It's Zambezi Silver, 120k with service history, grey leather, 20" wheels, gearbox done at 108k, taxed and mot. Condition is good in my opinion, a couple of minor scratches, stone chips. I've never had a issue with it only maintainence, battery, tailgate seal, brakes etc...had a new Land Rover heated windscreen fitted last year, new pads 6 months ago, stars first time and runs like a dream on the motorway. Sit back and cruise. Everything works except sunroof. It's never worked since I've had it. I've not got around to investigating what is up with it.

Just sent a PM about the IID tool

Sunroof issue could be a £30 fix with a replacement used sunroof motor from the bay. Really easy job and a very common problem.

Hi Steve, any more info on the gearbox change? I could be interested and am new to FFRR so wondered if any mods at all were done on the recon box to stop it going again? We'd plan to tow a horse trailer occasionally but I don't know if that puts these boxes on their limit?

Im not sure but will look into it. There is loads of paper work so may say on there. It was done by Land Rover if that's any help !!

Ok found the paper work. Was done at 107k so has only done 15k after the repair.
