I have a slight steering vibration over 50
I thought it was balancing and as I needed new tyres didn't bother with it until today I had 2 new fronts put on and balanced but still got the issue

Feels like it's coming on the near side front but can't be certain it's not bad at all but just annoying,

What's the next step I was thinking of ringing a local garage and asking them to look at loose control arms or bushes is that the right step ?

Yep, get it on a ramp and get all the joints checked before it wears your new tyres out...  Pete
