Can anyone help and explain (or had the same codes) what the following fault codes are and how serious they are, and what remedies/action I need to take.

PO23D manifold absolute pressure
PO196 Engine oil temp sensor
PO2A0 Cylinder 2 balance
PO29C Cylinder 1 balance

You have a scanner?
Cleared the faults?
Did they come back?

Clear faults, go for a drive for a while and recheck codes.

If car appears to be running well they could be old codes that were never cleared Howard

Are you getting any symptoms?

Black smoke for instance? If so, start by checking your intercooler hoses.

Take a look at the EOT sensor data and the injector values re the cylinder balance faults if you can.  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

hi thanks for the advice, yes the codes were reset and have come back. only getting black smoke when hard acceleration.
Not sure which hoses are for the intercooler? any pics or advice please.

took off the hoses to inspect but no splits on either, tightened up the jubilees and test drove but still smoking

Did you pull back the webbing round the passenger side upper, it normally fails under the webbing. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

yes had a good look under the webbing couldn't see any splits, it only smokes from the drivers side exhaust ?
