Like the look of this from the pics but the mileage is fairly serious @ 140k.

Turbo's have been replaced but do we think the gearbox will possibly give trouble before too long?

I'm bored of my Audi and fancy another RR

I would suggest thats a £10k car maximum sir with that milage

I can't imagine it would be easy to sell on - that's for sure!

as above, i've noticed when looking at sales the ones over about 130k struggle to sell unless discounted enough. thats on any age of FF as well.

TBH if you got it under £10k id be doing an oil change straight away followed by another one or two short interval oil changes to fully purge the system for the benefit of the turbos and look at cleaning the EGR's out as well which is another common fault. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

High mileage is fine when it's all your own. On someone else's car it's never quite so easy to ignore.

I insist my cars are serviced properly and on time but not everyone does. I had a gearbox go in an 07 FFRR at 103k so that's no real indicator, yet my trusty work hack is approaching 190k with no issues.

If the mileage is that high the car needs to be proper cheap so you have a slush fund for repairs. Bear in mind that a blown engine would effectively write the car off, a gearbox and TC is going to cost well over 2k if done properly, bearings, bushes, shocks, airbags, none of these are cheap and easy fixes. I see it's had a load of work done already so why sell it? Stack loads more to do I suspect.

If it was a 5 grand car I'd buy it as a work hack but I really wouldn't punt a lot of money at it unless I knew the owner and could verify all the service history. I'd baulk even at 10k to be honest if I knew the history.

Looks nice enough ,got a decent history,but needs to be seen in the flesh,pictures can be very deceiving, 12k max

I bought mine for 10,000. 122k on the clock. 2007 YM

As the car was blowing a little smoke and is going overseas, I ve had a bit of work done to it inclusive of changing the turbos.

Sorry for the late reply - I'm getting frustrated with an endless series of jokers while trying to sell my S6!

I don't mind if they don't want to buy it or if they chicken out after saying they'll have it (twice) but why do they drop off the face of the planet rather than just let me know??

Currently admiring Martyn's RRSC in the for sale section from afar but I have another prospect coming on Sunday so we'll see!
