Its only a section of the screen not just half the screen its more like the shape of a capital L up the side of the pillar & across the bottom. I thought it could be heat from the dash not the screen because its across the bottom about 12" & up the side not a full square. Any ideas whats in that dash area that could generate heat

didnt think it was half the screen as suggested ...could be something in the engine compartment that might be sending heat ... ... - .- -.
