Had an accident beginning off October, finally got the ok to get it repaired last week.
Repairer tried to start car, starter motor just clicking.
Put new battery in it, still just clicking.

Starter was fine before accident(rear ended),Has 182,000k's on it.

Any suggestions welcome.

check the battery and connections first..the battery might be new but it might not be charged up..

I had the same thing a couple of months ago I would bet money on it being the solanoid failing to throw the starter in.

Triumph rover spares in S.A. 400 bucks and a couple of hours to fit and as good as new.

I still have the old one on the bench, was going to re-con the solanoid and keep it as a spare.
