Hi,
I have no experience of the FFRR DPF but I had my 59 plate skoda superb DPF go and it wasn't cheap. If I were you I would take it out for a good 30 mins keeping the revs above 3k on the motorway and see if it can burn it out. My Skoda used to to a region when I turned the engine off I didn't figure out what it was doing until too late.
a cooling fan would stay on full back for about 5 mins after turning the car off. Not sure if LR have the same set up but take for a good long run and keep the revs high.
