Is There Anybody There

Well thought I'd put something in the Strala section let the world know were still here.............

Haven't been out bush for ages, fighting with the local council and still trying to sell the house in the UK
seems to take up a awful lot of time

Plus been working on an old classic 3.9 V8 getting that ready as a bush car (don't want to scratch the FF) .

Only made it down to the range twice last month Shocked

I think I'v asked this before but anyone this way want to go bush for a day Whistle Whistle

And another comes out of the closet. Brisvegas is getting closer

I think all the Sydney area FF's are shopping center show pieces

I have never seen another one out in the bush yet

Yes, shopping centres have worked this far out from Sydney although I'm about 45K from Wagga on a farm so no shopping centres here. Most of my off-roading is negotiating my 2km driveway although I've done a couple of Simpson trips in previous vehicles and looking forward to taking this one outback too, c/w one of my Llams height over-ride kits. Living in farming country I don't have the constant urge to get away from crowds but do like remote area travel.

2k drive way, that sounds fantastic no neighbors, were looking at selling up here and buying a hundred acres bush block on a river somewhere. Now I've retired. Plus this place has changed so much in the last 20 years. Instead of being the outer fringes of Sydney were almost metro now, way to many people

Plus some remote trips, thrown in once all the UK stuff is sorted and the council stuff at home.

So are you on a working farm?

Yes, and sorry that I've only just spotted your post. Its only just over 1,000 acres when most in the area are at least 5,000 but creates enough work for me, although most is cropped and have good enough equipment to keep the workload in check.

G'Day marshy

Don't be afraid to take it off road cobber, mine amazed me with its capability's just gotta watch out for the brush on the side of the tracks. Bloody things so wide you get some lovely pin striping but most of them polish out.

GraemeS

No worries cobber, being an immigrant I'm used to you Oz's ( only joking )

1000 acres puts our dream of a hundred or so to shame. I guess its pretty flat out there ? any mud after the rain....if it rains..........
