Drivers door outside door handle has stopped working tonight, works fine from the inside still, but there seems to be no 'resistance' when you pull it to open it to get in, is this a common fault guys?

And more to the point, any idea if its a difficult fix or going to cost me much?

cable from outside door handle to door lock is broken...this means door card off and replace cable....have a read of Petes link.. ... - .- -.
