Nobody in our Government appears to understand the complexities of the Middle East, yet over the last 100 or so years we've been messing around with various countries in that region. And to what effect?

I love commentaries like this. They say everything and nothing. They are on point and miss it by a mile. But then again it appears this was the intent of the original author.
