Just got back from being overseas for a bit and started her up and lo and behold the pixels (which were unreadable at all times over the last 4 years I have had her) are all back to normal and clear as a bell! That's at 180,000 miles!

Anyone else had this happen?

Mine get better the colder it is... soon back to normal as it warms up.... Pete

The place I used at Waterlooville does a 24 hour turn around on posted combination meters, or remove, repair and refit in under 90 minutes

Sometimes mine are great and other times a few are missing.

I just repaired mine it was easy 1994 softail full stars n stripes custom harley davidson

I AM tight but also don't want to see the mileage creeping up to 200,000

(Although I will be a very proud dad when it does!)

I did mine a couple of years ago, Got the ribbons off akspeedo. took a few hours but worth it, fairly easy to do
