What do you pay for tyre fitting?

I used to have the luxury of a mate who owned a tyre bay and I worked for him for a while around 20 years ago, so I knew how to operate the machines and would change my own tyres.

I bought 4 brand new 20" Pirellis off an eBay seller and I had them fitted today. Old tyres removed, new ones balanced and new valves came to £60 all in (£15 per wheel inc vat).

Reasonable?

I would say that's pretty reasonable, assuming they fitted them without damaging the rim with the machine.

Does that also include "disposal" of the old ones? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I kept the old tyres as one still had about 5mm on it. The other 3 are about 3.5mm so I was going to try and flog them cheap on eBay to recoup some of the fitting cost
I'm just wondering now if I've paid a disposal charge! I'll have to check tomorrow.

My Malvern tyres is always happy to swap and change tyres over.

Went in on sat for 4 new scorps, happened to arrive just after 2 chaps having their own winters fitted.

They are masters of al things round and rubbery. Watching 3 chaps swap 4 tyres over in under 10 mins was like watching a brilliantly rehearsed play! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I've been paying £12 a corner for some time now. I have a couple of Toyo's going on in early January.

As for the national chains not putting on owner supplied tyres, new or not, certainly National Tyres won't touch anything they haven't supplied. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged
