Ive known this car for over 5 years and I consider it to be in great overall condition with just a few marks on the bodywork (front bumper) that are expected with a car of this age.

The car is very smooth, turns heads and people comment regularly. I drove it to Le Mans this year, and would undertake any journey of any length without any preparation other than fuel

The spec if VOGUE and includes as standard:
European Satnav
Dual zone climate control
Heater screens, front & rear and mirrors
Controllable pre-heat
Heated seats and starring wheel

The 4WD capability is incredible. Have hardly taken this one off road - a muddy field to help ailing motorist stuck in the recent storms is about as drastic as it gets. I have however driven this spec of car at Landrovers Easton Castle an experienced what this car can do for real.

The air suspension, high and low transfer box and terrain response including HDC are all fully functioning on this car.

SO why am I selling? Quite simply - I love it and we're starting our search for a newer one and I want the money in my pocket before I start my serious search.

There are three things I'd give attention to if I were to keep it because I have OCD when it comes to cars!

The reversing camera - intermittent to the point of I regard it as broken. A straight replacement seems the logical answer
The venture cam doesn't turn on I believe to be the root cause of the fault.
The drivers seat is showing signs of wear NOT SPLIT and I’d have this refreshed on the seat cushion

This car is almost 9 years old so please don't expect a concours condition car. It is thought the most adorable all round car that I've ever owned.

At its big service in October 2014, I was told that its 'very solid underneath. I cleared out all the wheel arches last summer.

There are scuffs here and there as you'd expect and I've had the paint 'corrected' when I bought it taking out most of the swirls. Its been a 'two bucket method clean' in my hands for those that know what that means.

Over £7,700 spent on updating, repairs and preventative maintenance.

The Price

I've used WhatCar to value and put in 'Good" because of the reversing cam and venture cam being unserviceable.

Parkers value it lower so I've chosen a price to offer that I think represents a good price especially with the additional wheels and the knowledge that you won't be replacing an air compressor or alternator any time soon!

Any test-drive is welcome provided you can show a valid driving licence, and insurance. The test drive will be accompanied.

The car is in South East Wales near Chepstow.

There are 3 folders of receipts and other documents that you will be given to inspect and of course take away with you.

Please note I'm driving the car on most days so the mileage will change a little.

Wrong time to Sell? Price too High - Opinions Sought

Morning all

I spent some time tweaking the ad this morning. There's been lots of views. I wondered if there's limited interest for a specific reason? Is the car priced too high or are we simply in the twilight zone of post Christmas bank balances?

Don't want to waste peoples time if this isn't a car thats desirable or is priced inappropriately

I would say your price is really good for the spec, year, model of car, and condition which is fantastic ...

Reckon it's just the time of year for car sales which are slow ... probably in the next few weeks it will go ...
