Grained vs Oxford Leather?

Any opinions on grained vs oxford leather?

Totally personal choice, I like the grained, I think the smooth leather looks like plastic but that's just me, lots think the other way round, I also hate the perforated leather so wouldn't buy a VSE...

Boring if we all liked the same thing though.... Pete

Having had the perforated VSE leather and now having the smooth standard Vogue leather, I prefer the smooth because it doesn't show wear visibly as much; and it still looks plush... but then I would say that would I not
