My L405 is due it's 2nd year service at the end of this month.

I understand the 2nd year service is a major one so won't be cheap. I have had quotes range from £550-764!

Just having an inspection 2 on my 12 4.4 done at the main dealer next week. £550 all in, wouldn't think it should be much different for a 405.

Get a few prices then call the MD and ask them to price match, they should try their best, Hunters knocked £100 off the top line when asked. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi, I was quoted between £550 and £650 from the dealers around where I live. In the end I paid £460.00 all in which I was happy with. It took only a modest amount of persuasion.

It was actually for the 4th Service. It had done about 60,000 miles but it was the bigger "B" Service

I've just been quoted £650 for second service on my defender.

Just tell them that you need the price to start with a 4 (and only be two other numbers) and you'll book

I take it you prefer a Dealer to a LR Indie .... for the service

I'm approaching that dilemma again - I'd prefer an indie, but there's some value in a MD service history
