A question for our French forum members really.
I need a pair of new front brake pads whilst working here in France. Are the 'Roady' fitting depots worth a visit. I don't know of any other national fitting centres and I certainly have not been able to find a good Indy.

If you can take the wheel off and have some spanners you can change the pads

Order some and a wear sensor off Dan 20mins per side. Don't think there is an actual wiki for it but it's pretty straight forward.

If you don't have the space or time to do it then any garage should be able to do it as the calipers on the td6 are standard TRW type like on my disco, and many other cars so shouldn't cause confusion to anyone who has seen a brake caliper before! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Apart from Norauto, there are many other chains such as Best Drive, FeuVert, Speedy, PointS and so on should all be able to provide such a simple service.
I had mine (front pads and discs) done at Norauto a while back. The good thing about them is they have a ‘Price Guarantee’ – if you can find the parts cheaper (even on the web!) they will cough up the difference. It's "bébéchoon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.

Unfortunately I do not have the tools I require to do it myself (trolley jacks, proper spanners etc) as everything is in storage whilst looking for a house here in France and working here. I'm staying with a pal who has nothing I can use to lift the car up and keep it steady. I have a set of emergency tools and spanners but like many of us I am loath to use the jack that came with the car. So, this time around I'll have to get it done by someone else.

I'll be speaking to Weegie via phone later for best place to get them done. Travelling around in circles again.
