I can't speak for the Autocom, but as regards the IID, most of it's functions are not a direct IID monopoly in itself. Some other tools have similar functions as the car's systems provide for, though IID coverage is probably only paralleled by the more costly BBS MSV2. What is, however, different, is the way many things function - in that you have the bluetooth connction (on BT models) at your disposal to make live data graphing and fault code saving very easy and convenient. There is automatic file selection for ECU flashing with great stability and recovery precations available. You also have the ability to set suspension height presets and CCF and live value favourites (BT model). A great deal of effort has been put in to making it user friendly and convenient.
