That went out of fashion with Cookeen lard and Stork margarine, it's way too heavy and because the viscosity it so thick it can cause performance problems.
Think of it like putting Castrol GTX 20w/50 into modern engine, it would seriously impair performance and cause untold piston damage.

Where as the silicon is light and non greasy, so the pillow feathers and toast crumbs won't stick to it, and because it is light it allows full throttle right from the start without having to warm things up
