Help - Clunk when selecting reverse and other issues

After 12 months of faultless performance my 2009 3.6 TDV8 has just pinged Big Cry

1) Clunk on selecting reverse
2) Display reading 'Transmission Fault - Traction Reduced'
3) ''Terrain Response System Faulty'
4) 'Parking Brake Inactive'
5) Power steering just gone heavy
6) Limited power
7) Charging warning light on

94,000 miles

Any ideas

Thanks

Ian

My first thought is the Battery but I suppose that would cause ether clunk in reverse!

Has it happened once, regularly or every time? Does it happen in Drive and sports mode? Do the faults clear on start up? Has it had a transmission service? ______________________________

Start with the battery light on part and work from there.

The rest could be power related, it sounds alternator or battery related to me. Check its charging properly and giving the right voltages when running etc. Plenty of info on here on tdv8 alternator woes. Much cheaper to start there than go panicking into a transmission problem. The 6hp26 is seeming to be fairly robust with few broken ones. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Thanks guys

Yes I am leaning towards something electrical
The faults are intermittent but re-occur after a couple of miles
System shirts down and reboots
Let's see what the auto sparky can find tomorrow

A long shot, but I had the same symptoms after doing the thermostat housing.
Check the fuel rail sensor plug for a bad connection.
I had all the faults you mentioned bar clunking in reverse and the charge light on. Until I plugged in the IID tool, I could not suss it out.
