I never thought I would use 'DVLA' and 'excellent' in the same sentence however they have redeemed themselves. I requested a full car history on my old RRclassic using form V888 and a cheque for £5.00.

4 weeks later I am in possession of copies of all previouls V5's, sale dates and a list of all previous owners full names and postal addresses!!!

Most importantly I have a DVLA mileage record at each transaction so can now prove the 68K is genuine - very useful once the resto is complete.

I was surprised about the level of personal info have received TBH as I thought a lot would be redacted. Not so... I could now contact every previous owner if I wanted (if they still live at the address and are not dead etc).
