Thanks for all the compliments (on the car - not the marriage!).

It's my dream Defender but I knew one day I would have to sell it. I'd really like it to go to another enthusiast rather than a trader who will just make a fat load of markup for doing nothing.

The Defender TDci (2.4 or the later 2.2) will do 27mpg, maybe more on a run.

The Defender is now sold, taken a deposit on it today.
