United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Baltic Blue

Good evening all after falling in love with my Grandfathers Ranger rover classic back in 1988 i have after many years purchased my first one. My head was telling me to go for a classic but my heart won with me putting down a deposit on a 2011 tdv8 vse. in Baltic blue. I won't be picking it up for another week, ten days and to say i am looking forward to it is an understatement.

My previous landrovers include:

A 1996 discovery commercial in epson green
A 2004 defender td5 110 double cab in cains Blue

The disco was purchased for work purposes and the defender was used for work a little and then retired to to being the family wagon. I may regret selling the td5 as it was a beaut of a truck.

Once i pick up i will post a pic.

Norway 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

Hi all,
I have just upgraded from a '97 P38 4.6 HSE to a '07 Vogue tdv8. I have spent my forum time over at landyzone.co.uk up until now, but it seems the support for the newer models is better over here. I'm a tinkerer and a fairly seasoned mechanic, so over time, I hope to contribute to the answers as well - not just the questions Smile

Cheers!
Henrik

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Oslo Blue

Hi All,

Quick hello, new to the forum and don't have a Rangey at the moment. Not new to Landrovers though, have a 1949 that I'm rebuilding, a series 2 that needs a new chassis, a 101 GS that is my main toy and one of the last 300tdi 110 CSW's that we are going to trade/move on.

Defender prices seem to have gone through the roof so I was surprised to see that an L322 may make better sense than a newer 110, particularly after finding this great forum! Ran a classic Range Rover for about 8 years and looking forward to getting another, looking for a TD6 so hopefully join the ranks of ownership soon.

John

Evening,

Newbie member saying hello. Had a few of LR's other products in my time but not long had my first Range Rover.

Apologies in advance for questions that have been asked a million times before that i couldn't find the answers to via the search box!

I also need some floor mats!

Hi I'm Damian, bought my first ever Range Rover at the weekend (2006 Vogue SE -see My Range Rover thread)

Lots of info in the forum helped me to know what to look for when buying and very pleased with what I've got.

I'm not one for having a load of vehicles so will now be selling my Defender 110, but keeping the motorbike for extra fun Smile

Welcome

Greetings from the village of Cronton just to the north of Widnes about 16k east of Liverpool.

Anticipating the arrival tomorrow of our new (well new to us LOL) RR TDV8

Currently have E46 330cic BMW, back to Land Rover, last one bought new in 1988 TD County (still on the road) previously 2x SIII 88's 1 petrol (still on the road) other 3 bearing crank diesel (unknown fate)

Unfortunately now disabled, found the site by searching for wheelchair/scooter hoists, would like to PM Stan re same but have to have three previous posts to be able to do so.

PM you Stan when I've concocted two more posts LOL

Dave

Hi everyone.

My background has been Defenders and Discos although I've reached the stage in life that I appreciate the finer things in life and reckon it's time to try Full Fat.

Currently trying to learn what makes a good 'intro' FFRR without getting burned buying a basket full of trouble.

Experience tells me Martin's forums are a great place to be, so I look forward to chatting with you.

Well I was due to pick up my FFRR today but sadly the dealer wouldn't let me have it as it has a problem already! Lol
The deployable side step on one side would not stay in the home position. So the wait continues. 😢
