A bit "tappety"

Hi guys,

been a bit busy of late, but still enjoying the motor. However a good friend of mine who knows a thing or two (infact he knows everything as everyone calls him a Knowall) also has a good ear and he reckons the engine sounds a bit "tappety" Is this just a characteristic of the V8 or may I have some problems ahead. As normal warranty just ran out

appreciate any comments and/or advice from other knowalls No body told me there would be days like these

Would have to see/hear it Sportex...

An easy thing to discount though (apologies if sounding insulting): is the oil at the correct level?

I've come across vehicles before sounding "tappety" until the oil was topped up.

Hope this helps.
