Wow, I had to go out and check out the car. I'd never seen an airbag disable switch. Hmm. Turns out its blanked on NAS FFRRs. I guess it's always 'on'.

QUESTION: The warning light always flashes on when I start the car, then it goes out. Is that just a bulb check? Does the light STAY on for a faulty airbag? Thx

Yours is working fine... Light would stay on in the instrument cluster if there was a fault......

Do you have an IID (or similar) to check to see that the airbag is activated and whether it's logging a fault? I don't think they're very user-serviceable. You don't want an airbag in the face while you have your head in the dash poking around.

I had an iidtool for my td6, but not this one. If there was a fault logged, why does the light in the instrument cluster go out?

Don't think I can progress any further without a diagnosis.....
