When i eventually buy a 405 it will be an SC for sure... As it has the engine i like with the 8sp... For now, i will have to put up with this Whistle

For a number of reasons, firstly cost...
I would hope by the time i purchase one there will be quite a saving buying a petrol over a Derv.
My milage is ridiculously low annually 2-3k only.
The niggle in the back of my mind that petrols will be more accepted in “high pollution” areas in the future.
& finally, given the 405 uses the 8sp box on both the SC & Derv cars..... Why not go the SC route Very Happy

I'm starting to think so. But the tdv8 torque at low revs is great for sand, which is most of my off road driving.
