Saw this is someone else's thread and thought why not try it, for 99p in a Pound shop for two sponges what can possibly go wrong?

Is the sponge impregnated with something or are they just sponges and you used them with......? |

Most supermarkets have them, used them for years now, remember these are abrasive... use them on piano black or any painted surface and some polished metal and they can permanently damage the surface...

Did my seats and the door cards with them and autoglym cleaner and worked miracles on my seats etc. You can get them from eBay just ordered 100 from China for a couple of £'s. |

HAHA Yep 100! At those prices you cant go wrong! They are good for cleaning the corian worktops as well. To be fair the ones from China aren't of the same quality as the ones from the supermarket and don't last anywhere near as long but SWMBO can get cracking with them in the house too!! |

They will eventually strip off the PU layer on the leather - as above, they're abrasive so like using fine wet and dry. On the positive side, once you've stripped it off, the Gliptone might actually sink in. |

I bought 100 from eBay earlier in the year too - I use them mostly for cleaning my boat, but they are incredible things |
