Interior plastic cleaner

Mate just bought a disco 3 and it's had some serious coatings of gloss dressing on the dash etc...

I used to use MER plastic cleaner and that seemed good but not used one for years tbh. What's good for stripping the gloss and layers of trim shine?

TIA Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I find Meguiars APC to do the business, it can be used neat or diluted as required. Also a large bottle will last for years...oh and it can be used on carpets.

Why dont you try a magic sponge? Works well on leather so see no reason why it would not work on plastic 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9

As said, meg's apc is ok, I would dilute tho on interior plastics. Around 5 parts water to 1 apc will be plenty strong enough.

Once you have stripped off the old dressing (probably silicone based so will be a pita to remove), I would recommend 303 aerospace protectant for sealing the trim and protecting it from uv damage. 2009 Westminster. Mariana black with ivory leather.

Can recommend this company for any car cleaning needs, and this is the specific plastic protectant I said about:
