Ah, interesting. Mine does have a fancy remote with a screen on it in the rear armrest where it charges it self. That is a white fire one then?

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.

Pete.

I think this where my confusion arose.
I got the impression whitefire was something different from infra red cos those ones above look like IR ones. Am I understanding this correctly ie is whitefire just a fancy IR setup?

Yes, Whitefire is transmitted over IR but uses multiple channels (LED transmitters) so you can switch the headsets from side to side. Standard IR headphones as used with Rosen units etc don't work on this system.

Supershuttle - that sounds complicated - especially finding a blade to fit correctly Smile

Actually not complicated at all to program using the IDTool (no dealer required) - its just the specific key blanks are difficult to get hold of, I wasn't really bothered as I've never heard of anyone using one, they only open the door on mine won't start the car,

I got my key off Dan, can't remember how much but it came without a key blade which as I said above isn't really required. I think there are some on the Internet now (again without the blank key which requires cutting) for only around 40 quid Geoff

Cam tech Craig, if you see this I've sent you some pm's but I'm not sure if I've done them right as I'm using a smart phone. Apologies if you haven't had them, let me know and I'll try again.

Cheers
Pete

Hi, I am picking up a 2010 L322 Vogue later today and also have RSE with no headphones. Can I please ask where you bought yours from or any suggestions on the best places to buy 2 sets from?
Many thanks
