Currently awaiting a taxi to continue our journey home sans car via the AA

Car was going into limp on throttle and showing engine system fault. The limp would clear on a stop and restart, but remove cruise until stopped for longer. It would reoccur though.

The car also appeared to be a lot smokiier than normal. Black smoke.

We won't here what they plan to do with the car until a mechanic looks at it, but I'm thinking (with a little help from a friend) that it's an air leak.... Whether the AA can find a man to play with it I just don't know.

Any other suggestions gratefully appreciated!

Sounds like a turbo hose is leaking 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9

Please don't fall over in shock.

It's an air hose to the Turbo.....

This pesky hose has caused a lot of expense and inconvenience. I wish they did roadside assistance in France!

Hope they took the Camembert out as I asked!
