Good Afternoon All,

Loving the Supercharged Rangie at present. Just got a few general questions.

How hot does the engine/underbody get? Temp stays solid in the middle. But generally just seems to generate a lot of heat.
How good is the handbrake on these? Its got new genuine disc and pads at the back with a new caliper. Im not sure how high the handbrake is supposed to go.

Short answer , bloody hot . If I climb out of mine on a summer's day say about 40 celsius you are very aware of being next to a large piece of hot metal . 2008 MY Supercharged

i find it warms ya legs when you j ump out

Mine is the same seems to get very hot but I have never had a problem with it. My handbrake holds the car well but I must say that the lever does lift up a good way. The worst thing about being retired is you miss out on all the bank holidays

I wasn't sure if the handbrake needed adjusting/tightening as to hold the car I need to pull it up quite high but I do suppose it's got to stop nearly 400 horses from walking haha.

The early ones with a manual hand brake can take a bit of finessing to get the shoes and handle to work as per the MOT , the electronic one that followed works faultlessly day in day out so take that D3 owners  2008 MY Supercharged

Mine gets hot and the handbrake is medicore Alex

Mine gets so hot, can't even stand next to it on a hot day! Mine has auto handbrake and works perfectly.... Jordan
