MK III or MK IV

Hi,

I have a L322 2003 model with Sat Nav.
Nav screen is dead.

I'm a little bit confused between MK III & MK IV.
So many posts contradict each others!!!

Is the MK IV compatible with the 2003 model?
Should I replace by MK III or MK IV?
