Like a chump I've over tightened the expansion tank bleed valve and sheared the head off, leaking coolant left right and Chelsea! We've ordered one on eBay but need a replacement before Saturday- does anyone know if BMW does a similar part?

Use a suitably sized metal bolt with some PTFE tape, should hold a while... Pete

Ahh that would be sensible!

A few calls round and the official Landrover part is no. Pei000010 ~ £3-4 - all the local Landrover dealers didn't have them in but could get them next day.

I wasn't able to cross reference it with a BMW part but took a punt by googling a similar looking product- because we really need to use the RR early Saturday morning. BMW service centre seem to have loads of them in stock, £3.31.

The BMW part number is 17111712788
