Would any very nice forum Member who has an IID tool or similar in bristol be so kind as to let me come round and have a quick fix asap this week?

Just about to go for my MOT and got an ABS light just come up.

Not an expert by any means, but I think the tool is locked to a specific vehicle VIN number.

Sure others will be along to soon with more info....

As far as i believed the VIN lock was only for CCF editing?!

ICarSoft i930 will give you a readout and reset the light if the problem is fixed!

You can probably clear faults, but not re-programme.

Happy to use any other type of OBD machine (ICarSoft i930 or other) just to find out where the airbag fault is.

Any Brizzle boys out there able to help please?

PS would effect would removing the relevant fuse have? Would I need to remove battery earth/Neg wire in order to remove fuse? Would it get through the MOT without a fuse in place?

Airbag light is a hard fault mate, doesn't matter what you do it will stay, your original post said ABS light though so I'm confused....

you were my next port of call but I wasn't sure if your one would fix a hard fault like an airbag. We can but give it a go!
